zone-tick length-pattern
The function make-zone is an essential tool for any composer working directly with zone-lengths; it adds up note-lengths in a list as absolute values to make a zone-length. The extension to this function zone-tick is designed for those situations where ticks are required for further processing, for example by processors that do not accept ratio values. It can be particularly useful in electro-acoustic composition where there may be no need to adher to standard divisive note-lengths.
